Rowing is one the olympic core events and has a high value in our society. Endurance, discipline and teamwork are terms to be connected with Rowing. Further more, the German Rowing Association (DRV) is one of the three oldest federations within the Deutschen Sportbund. Marcel Hacker feels himself connected to endurance, discipline and teamwork in order to improve his athletic capabilities together with his team. It is not Marcel’s single goal to improve rowing. Hacker wants to motivate Kids and Teenagers to join him at the „Marcel Hacker Academy“. Up to now Hacker lead up to thirty Kids to Munich to join him at the Olympic Rowing basin of the 1972 Olympic Games. Munich will bet he host of the 2007 World Rowing championships. The Academy was recognized by the international press. The costs fort he „Marcel Hacker Academy“ were covered by Marcel Hacker himself.

High Performance Sport is a daily search to gain little advantages ahead of your opponents in order to take away the victory. When you have reached the international Top level it gets harder to find the important key factors. This battle does not only a high amount of motivation, it needs the support through your Team, Institutions and Sponsors. With the Frankfurter Rudergesellschaft Germania Marcel Hacker found a club to support his professional commitment. Hacker is the rower to be present in the worldwide media. In the post olympic season Hacker is one of the few single athletes to show a world class performance throughout his season. Up until now Hacker reached all of his goals except for the Olympic Gold Medal. The with the Olympic champion Olaf Tufte (Norway) that dominated the scene since 2001 has brought up new stars such as the Czech Rower Ondrej Synek and the world champion from New Zealand, Mahe Drysdale. It is important for Marcel that not only the success in sport is communicated but the daily drive for perfection and optimization is recognized. A TV coverage produced by the Deutsche Welle TV shows the daily routine of the world-class athlete Marcel Hacker. This coverage can be received through Andreas Maul. Sport is a perfect communicator for commercial advertisements. Marcel Hacker is present on a continuous basis in the world class since 2000. Hacker and his Team represent drive for perfection, Focus and integrity. Together with his Team, Hacker fights for a new world - class performance. The cooperation with his sponsors is an important key factor for the success of Team Hacker. Trust is an important element for a solid cooperation, but when it can be reached both partners will be successful. The next world championships will be held Munich, August 2007. Beijing 2008 with the Olympic Games is the absolute highlight of this Olympic cycle.
